Agronomic Response to Irrigation and Biofertilizer of Peanut (Arachis hypogea L.) Grown under Mediterranean Environment

نویسندگان

چکیده

Peanut is a staple crop suitable for mechanized harvest and source of plant proteins fatty acids. It widespread in Asia North America, while there limited cultivation Europe despite potentially favorable climatic conditions. To test the adaptability peanut Mediterranean area, two-year field trial was carried out with one Spanish-type Virginia-type genotype cultivated under two water regimes (full irrigation half supply). In order to response fertilization management, three treatments were out, including an unfertilized control, N-fertilized treatment, treatment inoculated commercial mixture plant-growth promoting microorganisms, Bacillus species, Trichoderma arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). Microbiological soil analysis assessed robustness bacilli their viability soil. The showed better adaptability, positive biofertilization. particular, led highest agricultural productivity, important implications sustainability. impact agronomic strategies evaluated also relation storage proteins. expression 7s vicilin fraction variability associated supply.

Development of environmental friendly bioinoculate for peanut (Arachis hypogea L.) production in Eastern Ethiopia

Background: Bacterial bioinoculate is one of environmentally friendly input for crop production. Several works revealed that effectiveness of Rhizobium bioinoculant have been affected by the native rhizobia population. Hence, this study was initiated to evaluate the effect of selected Bradyrhizobium in nodulating peanut in the major growing areas of Ethiopia. Methods: The effect of eight effect...

Impact of Elevated CO2 on Tobacco Caterpillar, Spodoptera litura on Peanut, Arachis hypogea

If the carbon dioxide (CO(2)) concentration in the atmosphere changes in the future, as predicted, it could influence crops and insect pests. The growth and development of the tobacco caterpillar, Spodoptera litura (Fabricius) (Noctuidae: Lepidoptera), reared on peanut (Arachis hypogea L.) foliage grown under elevated CO(2) (550 ppm and 700 ppm) concentrations in open top chambers at Central Re...

Effect of Phosphorus, Calcium and Boron on the Growth and Yield of Groundnut (Arachis hypogea L.)

The optimization of the mineral nutrition is the key to optimize the production of groundnut, as it has very high nutrient requirement and the recently released high yielding varieties take away still more nutrients from the soil. On contrary severe mineral nutrient deficiencies due to inadequate and imbalance use of nutrients is one of the major factors responsible for low yield in groundnut. ...
